Mfg Day @ DACC Workforce Center - Las Cruces

DACC Workforce Development Center Las Cruces

2345 East Nevada Ave.
Room 101E
Las Cruces, NM 88001
United States

Manufacturing Day activities introduce business professionals, students and the public to manufacturers and makers.

DACC started in 1973 as a trades school to serve Dona Ana County, New Mexico. DACC has grown to be a vital Higher Education institution graduating highly skilled professionals.

This event will take place at the DACC Workforce Center, which is home to the Aerospace, Engineering and Manufacturing departments and equipment. Participants will see the fascinating projects being produced by students and members.

This tour is more like an open house with a show-and-tell element. Staff will be on hand to show guests around the space, but visitors will be able to walk around on their own. A few members will talk about the projects they have been working on. There will be hands-on demos of laser cutting and engraving, 3D printers, CNC wood routers and High Speed CNC Haas Machining.
