Candace Beeke is publisher and president of the award-winning Albuquerque Business First (ABF), a position she accepted in July 2015. She previously served as editor in chief of the Houston Business Journal, which she joined in 2010. Prior to that Beeke was editor of the Business Review West Michigan, the publication where she began her career in journalism as a manufacturing reporter in 2001.
Beeke serves on the boards of CNM Foundation, Albuquerque Economic Development, Economic Forum, Vintage Albuquerque and Junior Achievement. She is also on the corporate council of NDI, is a New Mexico Amigo and is a member of the 2018 Core Class of Leadership New Mexico.
She graduated from Western Michigan University with a bachelor's degree in public relations and a minor in journalism. She taught advanced and basic journalism as adjunct faculty at WMU from 2003 through 2010.
