In this introduction to Social Enterprise you’ll learn the defining characteristics of a social entrepreneur, understand the varied definitions of social enterprise, the difference between social entrepreneurship and entrepreneurship, the ways in which social entrepreneurship differs from charitable nonprofits, and an understanding of SROI " Social Return on Investment in planning a social enterprise. You’ll also get clear on your own passion and mission for social enterprise and understand how to align your mission and values with your ideas for a social enterprise.
