The monthly meeting of the Rio Grande Chapter of the Project Management Institute (PMIRGC) will be held from 6pm-8pm Thu Sep 19th at Sandia Resort & Casino.
This month’s topic is How to Market Yourself as a Project Manager in New Mexico. Additional information regarding the event and speaker follows:
What is the perception of area employers about project management-do they know what it is, do they see its value?
We will discuss best practices on:
* Writing the perfect resume and cover letter
* Interview etiquette: dress, what not to ask, what to highlight, how to prepare, etc.
* The current employment climate
* What can you do to improve the perception of project management in Albuquerque?
