Hazwoper 8 Refresher, Albuquerque

This Hazwoper course meets the OSHA/EPA training requirements for workers performing hazardous waste site functions in accord with the provisions of 29 CFR 1910.120.  The regulation stipulates that employers at hazardous waste sites, and at many other "sites" as further defined by the regulation, shall ensure that all workers with the potential of chemical exposure will receive 8 hours of waste site health and safety training. Hazwoper training covers broad issues that relate to the hazard and safety recognition on the job sites. The course helps participants identify different types of hazards, how to handle them, and the precautions and protective measures for eliminating or diminishing the hazards. Specific issues relating to the client’s environment are addressed.
