IPC J Standard, Albuquerque

Obtain hands-on experience with soldering electronic components including a board for various electronic soldering applications. Topics include: uses and types of flux, properties of solder, soldering tips, fillet requirements, wetting, excess, cold, and insufficient solder.  Upon successful completion of the course and a course for the written examinations, you will receive an IPC Worker Proficiency Certificate and are registered with the IPC (Institute of Interconnecting and Packaging Electronic Circuits).  Prerequisite: some soldering experience and successful completion of the open and closed book examinations.
