As cybersecurity practitioners, we have spent a great deal of time and effort developing network and system defenses, yet we still see reports of data breaches on a daily basis. We have invested much in best-practice protections and solutions, but we still face an overwhelming wave of threats designed to bypass these defenses. We will discuss what can be done to reduce and mitigate risk in the current threat landscape.
