Weâ€™re excited to offer this series of courses for the small business community! Learn, grow, and receive a certificate for completing the series. This is part 9 of a 13 part series.
Money Smart for Small BusinessÂ (MSSB) provides a practical introduction to key topics related to starting and managing a business. Developed jointly by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) and the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA).
After completing this module, participants will be able to:
- Understand how credit reports are used in the underwriting of business loans.
- Apply common business practices and tools to help in proper credit reporting.
- Develop strategies to build or improve their business credit.
- Protect themselves from credit-related scams and know what to do if their business becomes a victim.
This is a brown-bag lunch event so bring your own lunch! Soft drinks and water will be provided. This workshop is free ï¿½" but you do need to register!
Each module will be offered on the third Thursday of the month. Next module will be Risk Management onÂ September 21, 2017.
