About Us

Welcome to New Mexico’s business and community development calendar, a collaborative web-based calendar designed for quick reference to events that can help you grow your business and career.

The Business Calendar – or simply Biz Calendar (and formerly known as the ED Calendar) – was created by the non-profit arm of New Mexico Community Capital in 2007, with support from New Mexico’s Economic Development Department, Finance Authority, and Small Business Development Network. In 2010, Comprehensive Consulting Group, LLC assumed responsibility for the calendar, managing it as a public service project in tandem with Finance New Mexico, another public service project. Together, the two tools provide valuable resources that help New Mexico business owners and entrepreneurs connect to skills, knowledge, colleagues, investors, and potential customers. In January, 2012, the calendar was updated to allow users to submit events without creating an account, integrate their event information with other web platforms, and easily share events via email.

Submitting an event? Share it with your social media followers. Planning to attend an event? Add it to your personal calendar and tell your Facebook and other social media friends. Got a tablet or smartphone? Get the mobile version of the calendar and have instant access to business events.

We invite you to submit events, provided they are business events. Individuals, businesses, for-profit consultants, non-profit organizations and industry associations are welcome to submit their business-related trainings, workshops, conferences, meetings and networking events.

Once submitted, events are distributed via RSS feed to the websites of other business resource sites, such as chambers of commerce, incubators, professional associations, and the state’s economic development departments. If you would like to add more value to your own website, please contact us about obtaining a customized RSS feed that can deliver headlines or details pertaining to events in the categories you choose. Alternatively, a link on your website can take visitors to the events occurring in your region.

Please limit your submissions to business events. The calendar is not intended to be a resource for groups such as cultural, social, sports, or community associations (e.g., homeowners’ associations), whether or not they are non-profits.

More website enhancements are still coming, so bookmark this site and check back often!
